1. When did you start to collect Disney stamps, and why did you choose Disney as your stamp subcjet?
2. Do you collect also othere themed stamps?
3. As I mentioned before, I'm a beginner at stamp collecting and just like you I chose Disney as the main theme of my stamps. I have though a little trouble because my little stamp album run out of place and my Hercules and The Lion King 2 stamps are currently in their envelopes. What kind of stumb album are you using?
Is it a local product whivh you can only get in Hong Kong or are you using a Leuchttum stamp album (or other well known mark).

刪除First, I am so happy that a reader have more interesting with Disney stamp collecting.
I collect Disney stamp before 30 years ago, I have not collect other theme stamps because there have too many issue of Disney theme ^^....I love Disney cartoon, Mickey and Donald when I am a boy, so I start collect Disney products and stamps is my first collection which is 101 Dalmatians issued on 1972.
I have collect over 30,000 pcs Disney product now, include stamp, movie disc, music disc, doll, figure, phone card, train ticket, postcard, games, calendar, sticker, key chain, lucky money pocket, button, pin, plate, mug, can, trading card, comics, guidebook, ballpen, album, watch.... which you can found out on my facebook (Lawrance Tsang)
I also using a plastic clear sheet for collecting which get in Hong Kong only, it likes "Leuchtturm" LB1, LB2, LB3 and LB4, (http://www.finnserver.com/vmtarvike/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=74_629_602_686&language=en) but the sheet not with rings, and I can put them to a Disney theme clear book ( I will take a picture for you later)

Ah I see, you are just like me, I too collect all different Disney items, not only stamps :) I have to say that I got my first stamps in 1999 both Disney and other themed stamps so I'm not a total newbie to stamp collecting, though my interested in stamps ended soon since in 1999 I was only 9 years old and none of my friends collected stamps so I didn't got to share the experience with others.
回覆刪除Now as an adult and a collector of many Disney things I want to expend my stamp collection since it is a bit cheaper hobby than doll collecting right now.
I see, so you prefer to use sheets to keep your stamps in. I myself prefer albums, I'm going to order a Leuchtturm album today, I just don't know yet if I should buy an album with 8 cards or with 16 cards for a good start, all depends on the shipping costs now,haha.
